This guide shows you how to build and run Micro from source.
Prerequisites
You'll need a server with:

- A PostgreSQL 17 database
Installation
Clone the repository:
git clone https://codeberg.org/nord-studio/micro.git
cd microInstall the dependencies:
pnpm install --filter=@micro/web... --frozen-lockfileCreate your .env and config.toml from the examples:
cp .env.example .env
cp config.example.toml config.tomlSet DATABASE_URL in .env to your database, and origin in config.toml to your instance's URL. Other environment variables go in .env too.
Build Micro:
pnpm --filter=@micro/web buildStart it:
pnpm --filter=@micro/web startMicro runs its database migrations on startup. It listens on port 3000, or whatever PORT is set to.
