Micro is a purpose-built, open-source and lightweight task and project management platform.
While the idea came from needing something akin to Linear for our own use at Nord Studio, Micro was designed with the idea of enabling anyone from any background to use it.
TLDR; It's like Linear, but without the AI slop, feature bloat, vendor lock-in, and extortionate pricing with the added benefit of being open for everyone.
Why Micro?
We built Micro with the following principles in mind:
- Simplicity: Install or sign up and be ready to go in minutes, with sensible defaults and an easy to use configuration system built into the platform itself.
- Flexibility: Whether you're an entire organisation, or just a few roomates co-ordinating chores, Micro can help you get things done with a simple, intuitive interface with customisable grouping, priorities, and hierarchal organisation that fits your needs.
- Transparency: We believe in the power of open source software and the benefits it brings to the community. Found a bug or need a feature? Open a PR and help us make Micro better for everyone.
